EMMA COTT - BIOGRAPHY
Emma graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. in History in 2002. She moved to San Francisco shortly thereafter, and between her other jobs at a public health clinic and an after school program, she began freelancing in documentary film.
Before beginning work at InCA Productions in April 2005, she gained experience in various areas of production and post-production working on films with social justice themes. Among her favorites were two films with Bill Jersey and Quest Productions: one about women farmworkers in Salinas Valley & another about the search for a vaccine to prevent HIV.
At InCA, Emma has had the pleasure of working as an Associate Producer on “The Power of the Sun” and ‘Keeping Score: 3 Revolutions in Music’. She looks forward to continuing her education as a camera woman and editor on future shows.
